Development Policy Discussion Days

At the Development Policy Discussion Days (in German Entwicklungspolitische Diskussionstage EPDT) that take place annually in cooperation with the Heinrich Böll Foundation (Heinrich Böll Stiftung), we promote the exchange between development policy, development policy practice and research. Speakers from different institutions discuss current and controversial issues (such as “China und Africa“, “civil-military cooperation“, “development cooperation and corruption“). The EPDT reflect what is important in development cooperation today.

SLE participants and Heinrich-Böll-Foundation scholarshipholders prepare the content of the EPDT and moderate the discussions. The event is a key component of the practice-oriented training at SLE.
