Course Fees and Scholarships

  

Self-payment

Fee per course: €500

Course fees must be paid in cash on the first day of each course. Please understand that we are not permitted to accept credit cards.
 

Scholarships

Offered to (non-German) alumni of German institutions of higher education or former sur-place scholarshipholders.

You are eligible for a scholarship if you are:

  • a (non-German) alumnus/alumna of a German institution of higher education. This means you must have studied at a German institution of higher education for at least three months.
  • a sur-place scholarshipholder from a German institution. This means you have received a scholarship from a German organization to study at an institution of higher education in your home country or in a third country.

You may apply for a scholarship for a maximum of two consecutive courses. Applicants must fill in the Online Application Form. The decision on scholarship applications is taken by SLE Training. Applicants who are recipients of a German scholarship for the SLE Training Programme are not eligible for further funding. The scholarship covers part of your travel costs and a daily allowance for course fee(s), accommodation, food etc.
 
Special Conditions

Course 3 "Conflict Management and Conflict Transformation"
We are glad to offer 1-2 scholarships to applicants from conflict areas for this course, even if they are not alumni of a German institution of higher education.


Course 4 "Results-Based Management and Outcome-Oriented Monitoring"
Please note that scholarships are not available for this course. Participants cover their own course fee of €500 and their own travel and living expenses.


Funding from other sources

If you need funding but do not fulfil the scholarship criteria listed above, you may try to find funding from your university/organization, local/international foundations or German enterprises/organizations in your country. You can also check the  scholarship database of DAAD.

SLE TRAINING has no funds of its own to support applicants who are not eligible for a scholarship as described above. If the scholarship conditions do not apply to you, please use the application form for self-payment.

You will be notified by the end of May 2012 if you have been granted a scholarship or put on the waiting list.
